De Nexcom IPPC 1040P is een 10,1" 16:9 WXGA (1280 x 800) zware-industrie ventilatorloze panel-pc, gebouwd rond de Intel Celeron J1900 quad-core SoC (tot 2,42 GHz met turbo) met standaard 4 GB DDR3L (uitbreidbaar tot 8 GB via twee SO-DIMM-sockets), een extern vergrendeld CFast-slot en een interne 2,5" SATA HDD- of SATA DOM-bay. Het 300 cd/m² LED-verlichte paneel bevindt zich achter een 10-punts projected-capacitive (P-Cap) multi-touch glas met 90% lichttransmissie en een 7H-krasbestendig oppervlak, gemonteerd in een metalen behuizing met een robuuste, vlakke aluminium rand zonder zichtbare bezel met beschermingsgraad IP66, geschikt voor raffinaderijen, windparken, chemische en farmaceutische fabrieken en soortgelijke zware omgevingen. De I/O aan de achterzijde omvat dubbele Intel I210 Gigabit Ethernet, 2 x geïsoleerde RS-232/422/485 COM-poorten (2,5 kV isolatie), één VGA tweede beeldscherm, 2 x USB 2.0 + 1 x USB 3.0, Line-out audio (Realtek ALC888S-VD2), reset- en aan/uitschakelaars en een 2-pins externe aan/uit-schakeling. Twee interne mini-PCIe-sockets plus een simkaartsleuf accepteren optionele Wi-Fi- of 3.5G-modules. De voeding heeft een breed ingangsbereik van 12 tot 30 V DC met een optionele 12 V / 60 W AC-DC-adapter (P/N 7400060062X00). De behuizing heeft een bedrijfstemperatuurbereik van -10°C tot 60°C, 10 tot 90% RV niet-condenserend, kan worden gemonteerd op paneel/wand/standaard/VESA 100 x 100 mm en is CE-gemarkeerd (EN 61000-6-2/-6-4) plus FCC Klasse A. OS-ondersteuning: Windows 7 32/64-bit en Windows 10 64-bit. TSL Automation levert de Nexcom IPPC 1040P wereldwijd.
