De Nexcom APPC 1540T is een 15" 4:3 XGA (1024 x 768) ventilatorloze industriële panel-pc voor fabrieksvloer-, machineautomatiserings- en HMI-toepassingen. De ingebouwde Intel Celeron J1900 quad-core (tot 2,0 GHz) is gekoppeld aan twee DDR3L SO-DIMM-sockets (standaard 4 GB, tot 8 GB) en een passief thermisch ontwerp zonder bewegende delen. De opslag omvat één extern vergrendeld CFast-socket plus een optionele 2,5" SATA HDD/SSD of SATA DOM in de interne drivebay. Het 5-draads resistieve vlakpaneel-touchscreen levert een typische helderheid van 400 cd/m², een contrastverhouding van 2500:1 en een kijkhoek van 88° op alle vier de assen achter een frontrand van kunststof met beschermingsgraad IP65, geschikt voor fabrieks- en lichte hogedrukreinigingsomgevingen. De I/O aan de achterzijde omvat dubbele Intel I210 Gigabit Ethernet, twee geïsoleerde RS-232/422/485 COM-poorten (2,5 kV isolatie), één VGA tweede beeldscherm, 2 x USB 2.0 en 1 x USB 3.0, Line-out audio (Realtek ALC888S-VD2), aan/uit- en resetschakelaars en een 2-pins externe aan/uit-schakeling, met twee interne mini-PCIe-sockets en een simkaartsleuf voor optionele Wi-Fi- of 3.5G-modules. De voeding heeft een breed ingangsbereik van 12 tot 30 V DC met een optionele 12 V / 60 W AC-DC-adapter (P/N 7400060062X00). De behuizing heeft een bedrijfstemperatuurbereik van -5°C tot 60°C, 10 tot 90% RV niet-condenserend, kan worden gemonteerd op paneel/wand/standaard/VESA 100 x 100 mm en is CE-gemarkeerd plus FCC Klasse A. Ondersteunt Windows 10/8/7 (32-bit + 64-bit) en Windows CE 7.0. TSL Automation levert de Nexcom APPC 1540T wereldwijd.
