De Avalue HPS-246U4A is een 19" 4U rackmount-werkstation gebouwd rond het Avalue HPM-246UA-serverboard met een 8e/9e generatie Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3, Pentium®, Celeron® of Xeon® E-processor (max. TDP tot 95W) en Intel® C246-chipset, ontworpen als een netwerkdichte, beheersbare compute node voor edge-servers en netwerkapparatuur. Met 4 x DDR4 2666MHz ECC/Non-ECC DIMM tot 128GB, een 500W PS2 ATX-voeding en IPMI 2.0 via een ASPEED AST2500 BMC, combineert hij efficiënte Core/Xeon-E-prestaties met zeven Intel GbE-poorten in een 430 x 174,8 x 650 mm behuizing. Hij biedt flexibele PCIe Gen3/Gen2-uitbreiding plus een PCI 3.0-slot, 3 x vooraan toegankelijke 2,5"-bays, 7 x Intel I210AT 1GbE, drievoudig DP++ (4K)-beeldscherm, USB 3.2 Gen2/Gen1 en VGA, met Windows 10 IoT of Windows Server 2016/2019.
